unless you wheel heavily,
Thing is you only benefit from high centering clearance. Someone may correct me if I'm wrong, but all other aspects go to crap. Especially with a drop bracket since you have low axles and clearance.
I've always read to run the tallest tires you can with the least amount of lift. Lower center of gravity, and the most clearance.
Anything beyond that is mall crawler territory.
while you're mostly right that's not always true, there are some specialty types of off roading that 6+ inches of lift and looking like you have a small **** are actually good for....

but honestly that's about it.....

Answer the question; WHY do you want to go higher.
Is it to gain clearance, or to compensate for something else?
If you want it for clearance, there's other things you can do.
Custom transmssion crossmember, Lifting the transmission up 1.5" above the bottom of the frame, along with a BudBuilt clocking ring, clocking the transfer case 30*, again, to put it above the bottom of the frame. Cut off the front transmission mounts. The only reason the back ones are still there hanging below the frame is because of the damn gas tank. That will be changed when I do the F250 tank swap. Tank will go between the frame where the spare tire use to be, again, up and out of the way. Then, cut off the rear mounts, and put a full belly pan under it. And there's your flat belly.
If you're one of those, "Higher because it looks good", you're high. All I have to say is, like I said before,
Nice truck, sorry about you're little d!ck.....

Sounds like a lot of work to be able to back up a ramp in a parking lot.

its unique as ****
Just because I backed up a ramp, doesn't mean that she doesn't see any dirt or trails. I'm just being smart and not f*cking my DD up like I did once before......
Thank you SJC.
That comment still made me laugh out loud.Sounds like a lot of work to be able to back up a ramp in a parking lot.
Solid axle swap it and then theoretically the sky's the limit.
SAS would indeed be a good idea if you want your truck super high. I have 7" of lift on my runner. Did 4" and my tires rubbed and i like a lot of travel, so i added 3" more inches. I would never say my truck is huge by any means, but it helps avoiding rock edges when climbing. I dont do the height for the looks, its too damn expensive just to impress people i dont give a sh!t about. There are practical uses for lifted trucks, obviously.
And some people just enjoy lifting trucks for looks. Its called a hobby. Some play chess, some collect Beany-babies, some are musicians, and some lift trucks. The whole small penis thing comes in when people are jealous that their hobby is cheaper and not as publicly viewed and flaunted as the truck lifter. Having a truck designing hobby does not correlate to penis size. Its like saying that drummers have small ear lobes...
