So I finally registered, but have already gotten lots of answers and inspiration from many of you over the last few months.
I recently purchased my first 4Runner, a 1999 Limited 3.4L w/ 160k miles. So far all it has received is some TLC:
-Complete timing belt kit
-Valve cover gasket set
-Fuel Filter
-Spark plugs and wires
-Switched to full synthetic oil
-SeaFoam treatment
Short-term mods planned:
-Deck plate mod
-Intake silencer removal
-Removing gold emblems, replacing some w/ black
-Installation of existing sound system
-Optima dual battery system
-Tundra brake upgrade
The list of long-term mods that I'd like to do is a mile long, but many will have to wait until it's not a daily driver. I'm already having a blast with the truck, and excited about its continued evolution. Thanks again!
