There are options. What will help you is to know that the 18" sizes are the same as the 17" sizes if you reduce the aspect ratio by 5. So any posts you find about 265/70/17's apply to you if you consider a 265/65/18. Same is true for the 255/75/17; consider 255/70/18. Finally, 275/70/17, consider 275/65/18. So by reading a bunch of 17" posts you can figure stuff out...
All of the ones I just listed will work with minimal or no lift and little to no trimming. In all cases the O.D. ranges from about 31.5-32.1.

I "think" if you have 265/65/18 BFG KO...it may rub a little, unsure.

I personally would downsize to 17s...because more tire options.
Anywhere from 32s - 37s...but of course you need a lift & whole bunch of stuff.

Wow, saw the first couple and thought those must be some of the best looking runners. But each and every one of them turned out quite remarkable.
Not sure if I'm quite ready to go that far just yet (only had this for 1 month now).
Got a good deal on a 1" (Day star technically 2" lift) front spacer to level out the front. Will start with that and look for some good 18" tires.

Are the stock 18" rims from the 4Runner and the Michelin 165/60/18s worth much, they have 20K on them

Back in '06 I saw a set of four take offs (pretty much near brand new) on eBay for about $600-700 including tires. IIRC, recently a similar set is $900-1000. The 4th gen 18" Limited wheels were the only OEM Toyota truck and SUV rims, so the price on them crept up. But the new GX460 also has 18" rims, so people have other options. Tire selection, esp ones that mount 18x7.5 rims are limited, so 17" would be the better option.
What tires will fit: 18" with Cornfed 3/2 and airlift 1000
I just put the Cornfed 3/2 spacers on and the airlift 1000 on my 2008 4Runner ltd. Now that I have the lift I think it'd look a lot better with bigger tires. The stock are 165/60/18's. After reading it seems everyone goes to 17'". Not sure I can afford new rims too (already have nice snow tires that I want to keep) and thought I'd just go for summer AT tires...like maybe a BFG AT 275/65/18 or something. I figure I could add some wheel spacers, but I don't want to go much further than that. I'm totally learning as I go here though and not sure if I'm making smart decisions. Any advice on what tire size would fit good for this setup?

Hi everyone. This post helped me so I figured I could post my results so it helps others. I’ve got a 2007 4wd Limited V8 completely stock. I just put on LT265/65R-18 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 E. No rubbing at all. Just thought I’d help!! By the way, installing Billstein 5100’s in all four spots right now. 1.75 setting in the front. Stock springs and stock rear with no spacers. But no rubbing prior to the shock addition in case anyone is wondering.

I think I'm going with some 265/65R-18 Cooper AT3 4S after following your posts (and seeing your 'runner). It was a tough decision between getting dedicated winters on the 18's and then a 17" wheel with AT's for the summer, but my current living situation will definitely benefit from have a single set of wheels/tires.
