Jason, provided someone is near you and can get that lower billet grille fitted for production, I'd like to get both the upper and lower. I can't see installing billet up top and leaving the bottom black.

are you near corona, ca?? :) Help me find someone, hehe.

Edit, lower grille now avail.

I'm about a 1/2 hours drive from cornoa....

but...with my busy schedule and such....I have no time :(

I would deffinilty buy the BLACK version if I can get the bottom billet grill to go with the front billet grill.

No, not until someone replies here that is willing to drive to corona, ca. For the person that does, they get the lower grille for free.

Hrm...free eh? its very tempting.

perhpas I could make a day of it, I'm sure some friends of mine wouldn't mind going and doing this with me. deffinitly something new and different.

In this thread, we originaly discussed the billet grill...

oddly enough, I have the exact 4runner color and all posted in the thread.

To be honest, I don't like the chrome billet grill, I just think there is way too much *bling* *bling* if ya know what I mean...

However, I deffinitly thought that the BLACK photoshoped version that someone did on the Titanium silver looked pretty good. I think that a powder coated black billet grill along with the smoked crhome front end and the Tiantium Silver finish would look good...I think it would be different yet it would still work.

Perhaps someone can take the photo and photoshop in the bottom grill in black as well, just to get a better feel or idea as to how it would look. My PS skills suck too much to pull something like that off. :(

I will see if anyone is up for a road trip (heh, about a half hour :p )

I wonder just what I would have to do?

EDIT: My attempt at adding a lower black billet grill....I thought I'd at least try... You can click on the image to make it look bigger.

Anyone else convinced that the Black billet grill would look pretty good?

I have to agree with you orangeblast22. I think black billet looks great on the Titanium Silver (which I have). I could even do without the grill's middle bar.

Also, you can now choose black powder coat option on site.

Top bar of the grille needs to extend all the way across so there is no gap above the emblem. I know it would make it a one piece grille instead of a 2 piece but it would look better in my opinion.

hrm.........I could have sworn that the other picture ( it was a 4runner in titanium silver) had a full1 piece grill.....and not that gap..

perhaps something changed?

I agree, it would look best if it were not gapped.

No it was the same, it's just the angle of the pic. I've seen it in person, and you'll have to trust me what I say it looks great.

Funny how everything looks different in pictures. On the silver 4runner, the grille didn't show up to well, so replaced it with this newer pic.
