The cost of springs IMO are minimal, if you think you are going to change it down the road, then I would at least weight your options now.

If you are paying someone to do the work, then the only downside is having to pay labor twice. Its pretty much the same job regardless of spring or shock.

If you are installing it, then no big deal. That said... Its a very easy install if you get someone like wheelers to build the fronts and shipped complete. Its just a drop-in install at that point.

I'm doing the install with a buddy of mine (he has many tools I don't). I may go back down the road, but since I am doing them myself already I won't have any sunk costs for labor. Plus the vehicle is new to me so I have to justify it to the wife some . Thanks for your input though. I'll make sure I update everyone after I finish the swap.

Thank you for highlighting additional possibilities that may be causing the issue.

Here is what I discovered and sharing so that others could benefit.

so, I called shockwarehouse customer service and informed them about lift in the front after installation of Bilstein 4600. They confirmed me that 4600 shouldn't raise the vehicle at all as it is stock height shock. But they told me that they have seen this issue couple of time before ,and it was when strut plate was installed in reverse direction causing the plate to be sitting about 2 inches higher hence spring is sitting higher resulting the lift in the front.

Guess what, when I checked the struts , the plates were indeed installed in reverse direction.

This morning I went to place that installed the struts and had them take off the struts, correctly installed the plate and reinstall the struts.

The vehicle is now gone back to expected height in front.

The suspension feels much better after correcting the issue.
