Bilstein 5100 Front Advice.

Hi, I have purchased Bilstein's 5100' for the front. I already have them installed in the rear, I plan on putting a 2 inch spacer in the back and my question is.

To have an even level at what settings should I put shocks in the front ? Max or middle ?

I am keeping stock coils front and rear if you need that info :) and I have 2 inch spacer in the front also that is why I am asking at what setting to put in the front. I will not need spacers in the front am I guessing right ?

I don't mind trial and error or is it adjustable once they are installed ? Thank you in advance for your precious advice !

BTW 4wheelparts store in Quebec is awesome. Only for service and parts not for installation. The guy at the counter gave me great service and made me a killer deal in Canadian dollars lol.

Next mod will be a winch... in the near future.

You had me going until you dropped the 4WP nod. Then I fell out of my chair.
But seriousely... you are pretty much answering your own question here.
Stock height springs, 2" rear spacer, adjustable front Billi's ??? Set at 2" lift height
(no spacers). This should bring you back to your factory rake - 2" higher in the rear.
I'd be willing to bet if you left the rear spacers out too you'd be level.
About 4" between tires and fender well. Does that sound reasonable ?

They're not as popular around these parts unless you drive a mail truck.
 
LOL I would but USA prices/parts is a hell of a different story here in Quebec.

Long story short ( you guys rock ) I have to pay triple price and barely can get parts I want.

SO FOR THAT REASON Hate 4wp as much as you want but leave the Quebec store out of it :)

Have you had a really bad experience with them?
 
LOL. I'm definitely in the .001% crowd. I've only used the one in Vegas but worked with only 1 guy there who has a 4Runner so I got lucky. But yeah, I've read some sh*tty horror stories about them.

They are pretty much the only 4wd install shop out here, but not for much longer :fencing:
 
I am not installing nothing at their store. I am just buying the parts I need.

But if you plan to open a shop in Quebec near Montreal please PM me.

I would be interested to partner with you on a franchise ! ☺

I worked in the industry about 10 years in the Bay Area.
I would'nt say the people were bad at all. We were all good friends.
I also knew a bunch of NorCal 4x4 shop owners real well.
So my feelings/opinions are kind of an industry bias and not soley my own experience.
When I bought my Truck/T4R I knew who I could trust with it and who not to.
Ive bought some small accessories there but like everone buy mostly on line from the manufacturer.

If you have good rapor with them thats a good thing to nurture.
