Bilstein 5100 install problem

I had my springs swapped from an old 5100s to a new pair today. Installed one fine, but the lower mount isn't lining up on the second. I can't for the life of me figure out how to turn the shock body so I can get this pointed in the right direction.

What's the proper course of action for this situation?

I ran into that same issue installing my shocks. The shock was installed correctly but the bottom mount didn't quite line up. I had to push down on the LCA and gently tap it into place using a 2lb plastic hammer until the holes lined up enough to slide the bolt into place.

same here, not that angle but similar, i applied the screwdriver method from the back towards toe front and managed to stick the bolt in, once the bolts starts going tap it with a hammer a bit
