Anyone have any idea if bilstein will be making the 5100 lift and levels for the 3rd gen? They make it for the 4th gen, tacos, and tundras. I've seen where people have put the tundra coils on and used the new 5100s and it's worked but I'd like to stick to the stock coils. I don't understand why they didn't make them for ours. It's hard to contact them also.

The 5100 preload adjustable shock gives youup to 2.5" of lift using the stock coils and is available for the 3rd gen 4runner. I just put a set on mine and I love them. Rides better, and relatively easy to install. Try Downsouth Motorsports - King Shocks - Fox Shocks - Bilstein Shocks and tell them youre a member here and they'll throw in a discount.

What do you have for a lift in the rear? Also, I assume you got the Tacoma shocks, with D558 in the part number.

So far im keeping the rear stock until I can afford some bilsteins and either some OME coils or spme spacers. I just want to keep it simple since I only have 2wd so the only offroading I do is the occasional fireroad. I'm really happy with them so far. And yes, its the D558 part # for 6 lug toyota vehicles.
