Bilstein 5100 questions

I'm looking to lift my 2015 T4R Trail Premium, and I'm new to suspension systems so I have a few questions that need answerin. I was going to get a Revtek lift kit, but I've heard that those are just cosmetic lift, and I need my lift to be rugged so I'm lookin at Bilstein 5100 Ride Height Adjustables. On Bilsteins catalog they only have the shocks for the 2014s, but since the 2014s and 2015s are basically Identical I'll assume that the 2014 shocks will fit the 2015. To set up the Bilsteins, do I get a spacer lift kit and the Bilsteins? If so, which spacers should I get for a 2.5" lift? Also, I'd be able to fit 275/65 r 18's with that lift correct? And anybodies opinions on the 5100s or any other suspension I should look into? Thanks

I was just at outlaw off-road in Santa Ana yesterday looking at same setup. I have 2014 but the guy said the shocks will self adjust up to 3" so you don't need the block installed for leveling purposes.
 
Do the Bilstein 5100s not have a feature to adjust them to ride higher? I'm just repeating what the guy told me yesterday. Said I wouldn't need the front spacers if I went with the Bilsteins. I dunno. Throw a rock at his head. Lol I'm a noob.

Yeah you can adjust the ride height with the Bilsteins I'm talking about. But what I'm curious for is do you need rear spacers to level it out?
 
Bilstein 5100

Try the search feature, there are many posts and photos about Bilsteins and spacers. They offer 4 settings 0, 0.85, 1.75 and 2.5 lift without spacers.

Spacers may be needed in the rear if going to 1.75 or 2.5 to prevent getting nose high.

I have some questions and need some advice.

I installed the ARB on my 2011 4x4 SR5 with a winch and the front end is starting to sag pretty bad.


I'm wanting to match the back end and fix this the most cheapest reliable way. I saw the Bilstein 5100 and it seems to be a good option.

I'm not looking to do anything with the rear for awhile is the Bilstein the best option and cheapest? Also with the weight of the bumper what setting should I use on the Bilstein 2.5" ?

I spoke to someone at Bilstein and they told me to use the factory coil springs or I would void my warranty on the Bilstein with the factory coils be good enough ? I only have 66k on my 4runner
 
That is too much weight on stock coils.

Buy the bilsteins and some springs, probably the 2" OME 885's or toytecs.

Should be close to level with the stock rear due to all the weight you have in the front.
 
so if I get the 2" OME 885's or toytech what setting should I use on the Bilstein 5100 for the front.

Sorry I don't know much about this I'm having a friend do the install for me just trying to make sure I have everything and all the information
 
Call the guys at Toytec, they are very friendly and more knowleable then me.

I would set the bilsteins at 0" lift. The coils are 2" coils, but will probably sag a little with that much front weight you have. Worse case you might need to buy some cheap 1/2" spring spacers for the rear later. But again, call Toytec.
