Bilstein 5100s at 2.5” with daystar 1.5” rear

I’m going to be installing Bilstein 5100s all the way around and a daystar 1.5” spacer in the rear soon. Hoping it will look pretty level. I have 265/70/17 tires. Does anybody have any pics? I think it would look good I just hope it’s not going to make the tires look too small. Any input?

The offset of your wheels will likely be the difference between “looking too small” or not. Factory wheels and 265s might look small. Aftermarket wheels with negative offset seems to change the appearance quite a bit, even with 265s. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah wheel offset will make a big difference, I use 265/70/17, right after my ome 883/895e lift was installed, my stance looked a bit skinny, but I threw on some SCS wheels and it made a huge difference. The new wheels stick out over 2.3 inches on each side over the stock ones! It helps that the Falkens are big for their size too.

My buddy's 2wd v8. Bilstein 5100s at 2.5 and stock springs up front, daystar 1.5 rear. Installed a few weeks ago.

is this with the stock SR5 springs? or did you purchase any different springs with it? this is the exact look I am going for on my 03. I just purchased the following:

5100 Bilsteins all around with front adjustable.
2016 4Runner springs with 1k miles all around
and I have 1.5" Daystar rear spacer.

I was hoping to achieve the level you have with only the springs and not using the rear spacer, but now I am wondering if I should just add the rear spacer anyway and pump the front up to 2.5...?

No I didn’t change the springs out just left the stick ones on....for now anyways.

It was pretty easy to install. I would recommend using a socket extension when you put the new brackets on. Hold the nut with a wrench and use the socket the loosen the screw. You will have to have the socket in the reverse direction in order to loosen it that way.
