I'm planning on doing the suspension in the fall, and I don't really know that would be the best for my needs.
I'm looking at the Bilstein 6112/5160 combo and Kings with adjustable dampening.
We're going to be driving it back and forth to work most of the time, but we do plan on taking it wheeling around AZ, UT and CO as often as we can (2-3 times a year). So, I'd like it to have good manners on-road and off, which is why I think the kings might be the way to go.
But, I just don't know if they're THAT much better. I currently have Bilsten 5100's on my tacoma, and they're fine... But they're set at 1.75" of lift. I worry that if I set the 6112's to 2.5", they might be a little too stiff, especially when we go wheeling.
Any suggestions one way or the other? Anyone go from the 6112's to Kings?
