Bilstein Dobinsons Input

Hey peeps

I am looking for some input on a suspension setup that I want to install on my 2017 TRDOP with KDSS.

I don’t want to lift the vehicle much, if any at all. So I’m looking at improving stock suspension.

I already have my Bilstein 5100 shocks and struts on hand sitting on the work bench. I am planning on setting them on the first (.85) perch.

What I am interested in are the Dobinsons stock height coils. I understand they have a slightly stiffer spring rate. That’s fine with me, I am just curious as to how they will pair with the 5100’s. Does anyone have any input on this setup?

im running dobinsons 325/725 (2.5" on first perch of 5100). it took time to settle.

when i have a heavy load i get reverse rake even tough the 725 is 2.25" tall in my rear.

i plan to drop the front end to 0 perch and then upgrade the rear coils to 729 possibly, most likely.

this could all change if the front end gets stuff added to it though. dobinson coils for kdss in the rear highest rated spring are the 729's- 600-800# weight.

Dobinsons 5th Gen T4R Suspension options - lots of choices

I thought I saw a post about that combo towards the end of the Dobinsons suspension thread, but not 100% positive.
