bilstein shocks for sale on ebay

I could use some new shocks. I don't know if I could install them myself though, so I don't know if I would want to buy used and take the hit on all the installation costs if they break down after a few miles. What is so special about bilsteins??

Im not too familiar with the bilstein shocks other than that it appears to be one of the more commonly upgraded shocks on lifted rigs that tend to see more offroad time. Basically if you want to lift, or do a good bit of off roading you want to have a good set of shocks under you.

dont get me wrong, these could have 80,000 miles on them and his reserve could be too high. I dont know, I just thought I would post because, provided the miles were low and the price was right, this could save someone some money.

I just installed a set of Bilsteins on my 2002, and it is amazing. No more bouncing on the freeway, However they are a pain in the rear to change on the rear comprared to the factory. You can hold the nut with a 14 mm wrench and turn the shock tube on factory style. The bilestiens use a 17 mm wrench and a 5mm allen socket best. There is not much room up there. It helps to take the spare out a little.

Those rears pictured will not fit a late 3rd gen. Totally different mounting. That would have been the smart and fast way to mount them.
