Bimmian Xenon Interior Lighting (replacements)

Can anyone tell me what the step/courtesy lights are? Are those the lights for the running boards, which I do not have?
 
To be honest, I'm not quite sure...no one has been able to answer that question...I believe they are, but they could also be the lights that illuminate the door sill...anyone know for sure?

2 dome light (bulb: DE3175)

2 dome lights ... one for overhead, one for the Trunk/Cargo area.

Chris,

I think you'd do better to check out some of the other vendors suggested in this thread...Bimmian does kits and I don't think they're selling individual bulbs.

Thanks Eric. I misunderstood the plan. I'm still interested in a kit if the price is reasonable and shipping isn't via UPS but using snail mail instead.

I can take a picture when I get home later on tonight and post here. I'm not sure if they are even needed to be honest, but I'll take them.

Did he happen to give a price quote or is he waiting for a picture first?

He didn't mention a price in his email but as soon as we get these bulbs figured out, we can get a quote for sure.
 
The license plate bulb is exactly the same as the map light so it would be (bulb: 168/194).

The glove box ... ? My truck is in the shop right now so can't take picture.

Count me out.

I've just changed all the bulbs that matter to me.

I've used 3 pairs of PIAA P/N 19172, Xtreme White 168 wedge bulbs in the doors and the overhead map lights @ $14.95 per pair. Added the homelink while I was at it too.

The dome lights were replaced with one pair PIAA P/N 19223, T-6 Xtreme White Dome Lamp @ $13.95 a pair.

They are direct replacements for the stock bulbs including wattage. They don't seem any brighter than stock but are definitely whiter giving the interior somewhat of a doctors office look.

Ok, I got a picture of the glove compartment light. Again, I have to say it's not even worth it. The light is very small and doesn't do much illumination.

I apologize for the crappy picture. I don't know how to work my brother's digicam, I couldn't find the macro picture mode.

On the bulb it has some stuff printed on it. It looks like the bulb manufacture's logo is a WE, with the E using the last slash of the W. I can't explain that very well. Also it's printed 12V 12W and XH.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Any way, chicks keep makeup in their purse not in the glovebox :)

All,

I just heard back from Bimmian and the kits will be $75 each. HOWEVER....with 10 buyers, they'll let them go for $50!! Not a bad price break...25 bucks (33%) for a minimal group buy, no?

Here's the text of the email I got:

Hi Erik,
Ok for one custom kit you are looking at $75. If you want to get 10 sets there is a retail price of $750. I can give them to you for $500. Shipping will be extra. If interested just let me know.

I'm going to write back to him to see if we can order seperately or if he'll need a single person to handle the buy. If one person DOES need to do so, I'm more than willing to handle it via PayPal--more word to come on that.

Right now, if you want a set, go ahead and PM me a confirmation so I can make sure we've got 10 at least!!

Could we get some better pictures of the interior with the lights? I may be interested, but want to see better pictures first.
