I mentioned DRLs because the headlight circuits are totally different than the usual "ground triggered" systems found in most non-DRL Toyotas. I'm still searching through several threads and haven't found an answer.
How does one keep constant power to the HID ballasts when hitting the high beams? Are you running a diode between the low and high beam + wiring? Rewiring the low beam to a different circuit? Yes I do plan on bypassing the DRL feature,but from what I can gather from looking at the diagrams (haven't tested it with a meter or test light yet),it does not revert the headlight circuit to a ground triggered setup.
My retrofit plans are either LS430 (lowbeam only) with auxiliary lights as highbeams,or FX35 bixenons...I have both projectors ;-)
