Black chrome Toyota emblems

Anyone know where I could get my hands on a black chrome front and rear toyota emblem?

I primed and painted my chrome ones and they just aren't doing well surviving the elements...

Any tips are greatly appreciated!

Really? Did you clear them? Because I did that for my corolla way back when and it's still holding up fine. Maybe you could try again if you didn't use any clear last time.

I've been meaning to do this to my current ones but its a project in waiting...bought the paint about a year and half ago

I did it on my 3rd gen, primer, paint, clear coat. It was lasting quite a while going through car washes and all. I probably did about 5 layers of clear coat.

You can find them on eBay, also the dealer carries a 3rd gen black pearl "4runner" emblem. I'm not too sure about the toyota logo for 4th gens. I blasted, primed, and canned mine. It holds up well! Maybe sand yours down and repeat with some clear too? :cheers:
