Black Friday 2009

I did go to two stores today. Staples did have the 21.5" monitor for $89. They didn't have one out, I had no idea if it tilts, well it does. It is amazing how much the flat screen monitor prices have dropped in price. It was a little crowded, but I got everything I wanted, plus a few other things. (I got a 8 GB flash drive for $12.99 and one 4GB for $7.99, my son who is in college uses these things like candy.) I did buy some small items at Home Depot and then I went home.

Oh, I did buy some magazines on-line, my Car and Driver was cheaper than I thought, $3.56 instead of $3.90 for a year.

I have a 19" CRT Dell monitor for sale cheap. Actually, it might cost me money to get rid of it.

I hope everyone is having a great Thanksgiving holiday.

See if your church or a charity could use it in their offices. If so, it save you the hassle of selling it and you get a tax deduction for it.

A freind bought me a blu ray player for $78 and I have been looking at the cheap blu rays. Some are $7.99. I have to buy some, just to check it out, right???

Amazon.com Movies & TV: Black Friday Deals Week

Peter,

You should esp if you have a HDTV. Broadcast in HD does look good on a 1080p set, but Blu-Ray is WOW.

I hope you ordered... the prices have gone up a bit on Saturday, again Sunday and I think the sale is over or prices are not heavily discounted anymore. I was focused on their Black Friday deals week sales and managed to grab a few Blu-Ray sets at a nice discount from that sale. I'm not looking forward to my CC bill. :crybaby:

Amazon still has this deal going, UP!, Monsters Inc., and Cars for $31 on Blu-Ray. The previous deal was $30 for just UP! and Cars.
