Nice. Being in-state, I got hit with sales tax. Still less than Olathe, but not by much when all said and done.
I think so. I have access to a lift and I did all the mods to my previous Audis. The lift was critical with lowered cars, the 4R is so much easier to get underneath.

I scored Icon Delta Joint upper control arms 58451DJ for $640 with free shipping and no tax.
I had a heck of a time finding a good deal even with the BF sales because most out of state retailers now charge sales tax for residents in CA.
Wheelers and Metaltech were about $740 after tax. Wheelers had $800 MSRP but 15% off while Metaltech had $840 MSRP and 20% off.

Did my 19 with a jack and had to drop the spare to clear removal of the old tail piece. Should be a breeze with a lift!

Yes, dropping the spare and removing the small heat shield are a must

Maybe dropping the spare is easier, but when me and [MENTION=97498]Brabbit[/MENTION] swapped out my TRDP exhaust for his ORP exhaust, all we did was remove the heat shield and the passenger rear wheel.
Either way, as you guys stated, its an easy job and only takes about 30 minutes
Thanks for the info. I ordered mine Tuesday afternoon and it's arriving today. May be able to get it in this weekend. I'll be torn between this and pressing on with my bi-xenon retrofit.
