Black Friday Shopping

So who went and how long did you stay in line just to get in. Also where did you go?

I woke up at 5:30am and picked up my buddy. We went to Best Buy but saw the ridiculous lines just to get INTO the store. We turned around and went to target where we waited a whole 30 seconds to walk into the stores. We hit the electronics section and picked up some 8.4" portable dvd players for $167 a piece. We bought some various electronics and then went back to BB. He picked up a camcorder and had to wait an hour to checkout. Got some breakfast at IHOP and then hit Lowes to finish it up. I'll be going out later to see if the malls have any sales so I can finish up my shopping for the year.

I went to Best Buy about 30 minuts after opennig. I was able to get some DVD+R for 3$ and CompactFlash card for my camera. Then I had to stand for 40 minuts in line to pay for it.... Was it worth it? I'm not sure now however when I was driving by the same Best Buy before 6am I saw about 200 people waiting in line...Now that's something You don't see every day.....

I drove past a Best Buy at 4:30 AM on Friday and the line was already around the corner of the building. The Kohl's I passed was also starting a line then.

Glad that all those folks were in line. When I got to the airport to catch my first flight of the day, there was no one there. The security checkpoint was a breeze and the airports were empty for all three flights that day.

A lot of websites post blackfriday sales way before black friday. Just buy all the stuff on Wednesday, then on friday go back and go to customer service and make them honer their black friday prices. I get a lot of good electronics that away......
