Yeah there's stuff made for plastic, but I'm not sure about glass.

Got the lights and the grille almost done needs to be sanded one more time and clear coated and new emblems on the way

Thanks.....can't wait to get everything done. The beam pattern out of the box is terrible they need some adjusting. They are brighter then my stock ones but i had the crappy refractive glass on my 97...

How to solve the beam pattern, it's quite simple: If you have 99+ headlights, take the center piece (that covers the bulb) from your OEM headlights and swap it with the black headlights, there you go, problem solved! :bigok:

If your not sure what piece I'm talking about...

It comes out easily in the black headlights, but for the OEM ones you'll have to bake it and get it out that way.

You could probably use the shell from the 96-98 headlights as well, it might look dull, so maybe you could paint it black?

Fo SheeZy, did you try this on yours? If so, did it make the beams just like they were before? A thought, maybe I could just break the glass in the old ones to get them out. :bash: =

Haven't tried it yet, but I know that has to be the problem, because if you compare the center pieces on the headlights, you will see a big difference in looks. Breaking the glass would be quick and easy! Not a bad idea..
