I couldnt find the thread, but since I had a few minutes to kill, I thought I'd put those TRD wheels on my Limited... well.. virtually :)

Wierd thing is.. while I love the rims; they don't look all that good photochopped on the truck.

I'd like a beefier tire on my limited, but I may be leaning more to Trail Edition wheels based on this picture... I guess I'll have to photochop that next.

i dont like the silver, it reminds me of a white wall on the rubber..which i hate....hopefully they look better in person....

Okki, are your original wheels the factory 20's? Photochopping those TRD's would probably look better if they appeared to be 17's instead of 20's. They just look too big. Try putting them on an SR5 and you'd probably see a considerable difference. I'd do it, but I don't have photoshop.

Having actually seen those wheels for the 4Runner (dealer had them), the spokes are more grey than blue-grey. I decided against them for my limited because I didn't think they looked all that good on the car. There are better looking wheels out there for less $.

If someone posts a side profile of a TE or SR5 with 17" wheels I'll resize from that. Tire outer circumferential should be the same, so I can just take the rims & tires from that pic and superimpose on the Limited.

BTW for those who are interested, I used GIMP to make the image.. it does everything I want and would have used Photoshop for, but it's free.

I agree. I don't like them. The wheels are bad ass, just not on a T4R. Especially not at 400 bucks a wheel.
Maybe it's because your rig is black? They would look better on a blizzard or even a silver one. The silver ring woun't stand out as much.

I'm seriously considering Fuel Boost wheels, or Ultra Gauntlet. I'm not sure if I want the polished accents or not.

The Pro Comp 8128's are the same wheel as the TRD wheels (pretty much), just half the price. I wouldn't waste my $$ on those TRD's.
