Black Ops II out today

Yeah the aiming is taking some getting used to. I haven't found my grove yet with it but that's partly because I keep experimenting with different setups. Once I get everything unlocked I'll focus in on particular weapons I suppose.

I will say they've made it to where camping is not very common. There are many entrances and angles to most of the positions I've come across. I don't think we'll see much sniping from a single position anymore either. You have to keep moving.

I think Hijacked is probably my favorite new map so far. Overflow is my least favorite because of all of the dark contrast spots that people like to sit in.

I'm thinking about getting it. I hated MW3 and it sort of made COD boring and repetitive to me but I'm hearing BO2 is good. I'm waiting for GTA5 though.

THIS. GTAV is what im holding out for.

I Still play MW2, never liked BO1 or MW3. havent tried BO2 yet.

How's everyone doing in BO2? I had a few slow days earlier this week to got in some time to get up to prestige level 30. The items to all reset still btw, just whatever options you unlocked are still unlocked once to unlock the weapon again. You can also permanently unlock 1 item with prestige. I've been having quite a bit of fun with just a handgun and a bunch of different perks.

Dam yall are crazy, already prestiged haha. Then again, the military doesn't give me much time to play haha. Ill be on today! Gotta say though, the newbie weapons suck ass.

I'm struggling with this game. I want to love it and I was really close to crowning it at one time, but... Something about it. I think it's the lag compensation that's still killing me. The only thing I'm finding truly frustrating about it, is when I'm loosing gunfights that I never had a chance to win. It's like I'm dropping dead before guys even see me... That's how it feels anyway.

Anyway, how am I doing? Taken from my Elite page this morning:

K/D Ratio 1.2
SPM 273
Win %78

So yeah, K/D is suffering as is everyone's in this game. I'm typically a 1.5-2 K/D player. Nothing spectacular because I'm an objective player. But compared to the previous titles my SPM (avg 189) is a lot higher but Win % (avg 92%) is a lot lower.

Sigh... I want to love this game, but if the lag doesn't get sorted out, I don't know how long I'll be playing it.

Exactly. I find that even if I camp with a certain corner in my sights waiting for someone they still somehow come round the corner, see me, line me up and kill me before I even have time to pull the trigger. So frustrating. Its gotten a bit better, the first two days were unbelievably bad, but its still got a ways to go. Not to mention the whole 'shoot a guy 7 times and then have him turn around and see you and kill you in one shot' thing that always makes me go WTF?
Seems like camping is much more effective in this one given all the bouncing bettys, claymores and shock charges people seem to use too. more maps would be nice too. Games only been out a couple weeks and Im sick of all the maps already.
