I don't what the deal is with these but gloss just doesn't clean up well maybe my guy didn't clear coat em , but mine showed all kinds of road grime , why I went flat black TEs , just me & mine !

Black looks solid.

I like the factory look, it compliments your roof rails, headlights and the white lettering on the tires.
