Black or White lettering?

Today I am mounting my new BFG All Terrains and I want to see your guys opinion.

I am so far leaning towards black but these tires tend to look damn good with white lettering.

I just dont know how it'd look on my color scheme.

Opinions?

I'm pretty sure everyone knows what my 4Runner looks like but here's a photo in case:

Seems like most agree with this. They're going on at 5PM today so I have until then to decide. So far 60% Black and 40% White...

I think the white letters would look better, esp with a dark truck. I only like the black out if you have black rims

I went with the white out on mine mainly to give it some contrast with the black wheels on the dark green truck. So my vote is for white out but either way, you're going to love the BFG's

This subject is really beaten to death and their are several polls on probably every truck forum but it really boils down to what you like and what you will be happy in the long run with.

The con of having white out is you'll have more work keeping them white as the tire ages and look around you and look at other's tires with white out that you can tell have some miles on them and usually the lettering looks crappy. IMO it's a pain to keep them looking good since even after a summer or three the lettering seems to yellow just from normal use and keeping them clean and protected doesn't always work.

I debated too with my new Duratracs but with normal wear and tear,winter driving and off roading I just didn't want another thing to detail on my truck since the rest keeps me busy.

It's a faded white like a white shirt after so many washes, and white when its not spot on it doesn't look so good anymore

That's your answer there kids, you leave them on the inside they won't get cleaned when you wash your truck. Unless you get down on all fours. Personally? I use the brush to scrub down my white letters and rims, the end result is as if they were new.

Thanks for all your input, guys. Ron, you make a very valid point.

I went to my dealership to get them and it seems they'd already been mounted with the white out.

So instead of pissing the guy off, I took them white out and I will see if I grow to them, if not, I'll change it to black.

For sure, it's too dark now.

Only thing I'm bummed out on is that two of the caps were broken when I bought them... should I go to Toyota for them?
