black plastic piller trim behind doors

Does any one know how to remove the black plastic piller trim behind doors without breaking the tabs I beleave it is the "B" piller trim. If so please do tell I do not want to break mine I am removing it from My 87 4runner so I can Change my quarter panels.

I don't know but....

Have you tried removing the interior panels on the opposite side of them (where the seat belt is)? Maybe there are some screws there?

I'd look but my truck's in the shop.

yes I have and no no screws there are clips that clip it on I have already broken my drivers side I see the clips that clip on the broken one but have no idea on how to unclip the clips without breaking them. so that is why I ask if there is a method to remove them I do not want to break the passengers!
