Black Steelie Wheels???

So, can anyone tell me any advantages to running the Black Steelie Wheels?
I see them all the time for cheap $$$. Are they junk or good. Got pics would help to see how they look on a T4R.

In a lot of instances, black steelies are more durable than cast alloys. E.g., cast aluminum can shatter like glass if you hit a rock the right way and will be irreparable. A steel wheel will bend. If you're in the middle of nowhere, then you can limp on a bent wheel.

BTW, where did you find good prices on black steelies? I've been looking for them in the 17" locally, and they are proving impossible to find.

I've seen a few sets pop up on Craig's List lately off of FJs. They're the 17" 6 on 5.5" bolt pattern but I don't remember the offset. They were running about $100 each, which surprised me, but apparently they're difficult to come by.
