Bleeding clutch

Attempting to gravity bleed my clutch. Cracked the bleeder screw and nothing. Took the screw out completely and nothing. I still have pressure in the clutch and it works fine except being soft first thing in the morning after sitting a while. No leaks.

Pretty sure to gravity bleed you need to pull the cap off the master and pull out the black float thingy inside.

Sorry, cap is off the master and I don't see any black float thing

So you don't have one of these? With the cap off and bleeder out it should flow by itself. You may have to find a friend

Would you believe me if I said I used a clear tube- longer than the distance between the master and slave- and just sucked on the end till it was flushed/bled? Cause I did. And it worked awesome. Tube size was around 1/4" I believe. Needs to be a snug fit over the bleeder.

I believe it. You inhaling some brake fluid explains a few things.

I'll pick up some tubing, any other thoughts on the diameter? I can't find a specific size
