I have a compatible RDR detector and I'd still hesitate to spend that much on that bracket. One reason is I can't figure out how it works. lol.

I have this one : Mirror Mounts for Escort and Valentine-1 Car Radar Detectors

I can't imagine installing a radar detector any other way. Doesn't matter what type of road you are on the radar detector just stays put.

RevoRunner- they mount to the rear-view mirror stem.

Im using mikes mounting bracket.. same thing like blendmount just cheaper.. i think i paid like $20 or less.. i had to modify it a little though only because i have the basic rearview mirror non auto dimming.. the stem looks like a pepper so it wasnt a snug fit.. but other than that i've been using it for more than a year now no issues
