Last weekend, we received at least 18 inches of snow in my area. That called for one thing- my 4Runner. I took it out at night around local streets and it was great. No cars on the road and fresh snow make for a great time. I was getting through at least 2 feet without any issues. I did need 4lo in some instances.
So, the next morning comes and I really want to test my 4Runner. Of course, the plows created a monster drift in front of our driveway (must have been at least 3.5 feet). Since I was getting a little "overconfident", I decided to stop in the drift and see if I could get out. Let's just say we had to resort to the old fashioned shovel and elbow grease. I posted some pics of my adventures:
