Blower stopped working at the 1 speed

Recently I noticed the fan blower doesnt work at 1 speed but works fine at other speeds. Any idea why?

the blower resister went out on you. Mine did the same thing. I think it was $20ish for a new one and about 10 mins to swap it out.

Will having this failure make it sound windy in the engine when starting out slow? For me it takes a bit of speed for my fans to sound like they "kick-in".
