Blowing fuses - Please help

Hey all,
I am in the process of installing some hella 500's onto the front of my 3rd gen and have run into a problem.

as soon as i plug in the fuse for the switch (see diagram) the inline fuse and the relay fuse both blow. I have tried 15-30A fuses with no luck.

Also useful to note: I have run the black power wires directly to the + battery and the lights do turn on.

please let me know if you guys have any idea on what i did wrong! very frustrating to say the least.
EDIT: SWITCH THE BOTTOM TWO WIRES ON THE SWITCH!

85 and 86 is the relay coil one needs to be positive (the 85 from your switch) and one needs to be negative. Take the lights off 86 and connect the grounds there. Put the lights on 87 as 30 and 87 are connected when the coil is energized. Also change the fuse back to 15a! Its there to protect you from these incorrect wiring issues and by upping the amps you are allowing more power to pass thru, you dont want that.

Additionally on Bob's write up he has the yellow source wire going to the middle prong of the switch and the green (switched output) in the bottom. looks like you have that reversed too.

you would think they could label the pins on the switch but nooooooo
