Blown Fuse or Blown ECU?

Good morning all. I'm new here, so plz bear w/ me. I'm working on a 2001 4runner that got a jump start w/ the jumpers hooked up backwards. I've replaced the 120A Alt fuse, a 25A Tow fuse, and 2 other 15A fuses. Now, the engine turns over, but won't fire off. I've smelled fuel, but had to stop + go to work. I intend to verify spark and hopefully fuel to the engine next. I guess what I'm wondering is, could there be a blown fuse for the ECU? If so, where is it located? If not, could the ECU be fried? Any help would be appreciated.

Here's my follow up: First I pulled the EFI relay out for a half hour and checked the EFI fuse, which was not blown, and then reinstalled the relay. Then I pulled out a plug to check for spark. I've got fuel on the plug, but no spark. Apparently something in the ignition is burned or blown. Hopefully not the ECU. Any ideas?

Coils perhaps? Next time you want to jump start, just remember = (equal sign).

- = -
+ = +

Is how it should be hooked up.

If its a 3.4 I've got a spare ECU that just went on the market! Hope it turns out to be nothing big though!
