There's a blue 2000 runner for sale here in Chicago area.
it looks decent.
So which one of you is going to go look at it tomorrow beating me to it?

2000 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4WD - $4,495 133K on it.

I got some frame pics but want to check it out obviously in person.
Still looks like a nice ride for my kid.

ARMOR-ALL all day!!! Haha for sure. Chicago? I hear it’s a rust state check the frame carefully, especially the rear control arms. And also the top rear shock mount towers. Check rocker panels also! And give a good look around the fender covers. Looks purple to me though.

Yes absolutely, those tiny little drain holes in the rear shock mount towers clog up every time. I always suspect frame rust cover up tricks too.

It’s something to look at but I also fear the rust issues. Long as the engine isn’t a mess and it would last 2-5 years, it could work for my son.

I’m still on the long, slow hunt for the just right blue V8 Runner.

I'm sorry I didn't have time to go look at it today. Also, I live in St Charles so we might see each other although I have a pretty common "plain Jane" 4Runner!

If that’s an oem color I don’t think I’ve ever seen it on a 3rd gen before. Has it been repainted?
