Blue Lights for 2013 4-runner???

Guys,

I am trying to find the best blue lights for my wife's 4 runner. I don't want the ones you have to add blastic to but just a good retrofit bulb I can add to front lights and fog lights. What are you guys running or recommend? Any help or advice would be great.

Generally, any forward facing "red" or "blue" lights are "seriously illegal"... and will get you stopped, and probably an "impersonating officer" charge slap onto you.

Not just the kind of "modifying vehicle lighting" kinda "illegal" that some newbie members here are crying about (I miss that dude..... not!)

But I think you are not really talking about those "blue" light. You are just talking about that HID or HID look, right?

Man talk about asking a question and getting your head bit off! I understand what you all are saying but my wife like me wants some brighter light for appearance and to see better. I think I will try the silver star bulbs.

The brightest would be Philips 4300K HID bulb, in a plug and play kit (please consider drilling the light cover still plug'n'play), XenonDepot has a good one. It is simple and cheap enough. No H11 bulb replacement will give you that same effect and light output. The Philips 4300K bulb is the one being used on most factory HID system.

ok thanks guys for the help. she wants them for the looks not seeing better. As for the aiming of the lights I will get this taken care as I didn't realize you could adjust them so easily.

Should take about 15 mins... As referenced above the easiest/cheapest way to increase without blinding would be to modify the h9 bulb to fit the h11 housing.
