Blue tooth sound system

I just got my 06 4runner SR5. Got the best deal possible for under $26000 out the door. It came with a factory single cd jbl sound system. I want to upgrade it to a navigation system, but my main concern is blue tooth conncetions, i ve been looking into pioneer, eclipse system and factory navigation system. I cannot make my mind up, Please advice me which way to go, i can drop about $2500 on it all together including installation.

If you have JBL and are trying to upgrade to a Nav unit, you are going to spend more than 2500 dollars (assuming your nav unit costs around 2000). The JBL setup will not work with anything after market. You will have to redo the entire system. I do think I might recall reading someone figuring out how to do it but it was an incredible process to get it done. You might look into just getting the Factory Nav Unit, it is a good system and it should be plug and play.

So my best bet is to install factory sound system. OEM VALUE has it for $1800, do i have to add any thing else to it, for instance more speaker or extra amp.
Also i saw pioneer avic Z1 for $1500 at price grabber, what else do i have to install if I want to get this.
Please advice

If you already have the JBL system I don't think you need anything other than the NAV unit... but I could be wrong on that.

It is my understand that nothing with the JBL setup will work with aftermarket. So you would need to run new speakers, wires, (amp if you want it, I would reccomend it)... definatly do able, but I dont think for the price you want to spend.

If you do a search you can find a ton of into on the compatibility of the JBL system. I don't know much other than what I have read here and there.

If you have the JBL System, you can add an aftermarket deck as long as it is made by eclipse.

All Toyota Head Units are produced by Fujitsu...who also produces Eclipse....it is plug and play with no need to cut wires.
