Bluefusion Bluetooth and PA15-TOY iPOD - installation help

Hi All,

I picked up a used 2005 Limited. It has the JBL e7005 navigation stereo installed. It also came with the USA Spec PA15-TOY iPod adaptor and the Bluefusion Bluetooth by Scosche (BFTAK).

The issue I'm running into is I can either get the Bluetooth to work or the iPod adaptor. When i pull the stereo out, there is a splitter in the back to allow plugging in these units. With using the splitter, they both utilize the CD changer plug. Currently the Bluetooth is working. If I change the order in which they are plugged together in the back, the iPod will work, but the bluetooth will not (vice versa).

Not sure if it matters, the bluetooth utilizes the SAT screen while the iPod utilizes the CD changer screen on the head unit.

my goal is to get both of them to work, or create a switch that is accessible that would allow me to switch between them.

Any help or ideas would be appreciative.

i am thinking of installing the same bluetooth unit and ipod adapter om my 05 limited with nav and wondering if there are any updates on this issue?

no updates on this from anyone. You can stream music from your phone through the bluetooth. The sound isn't as good as when its connected through the ipod connector, but it works.
