I have scoured the archives and the internet for a definitive answer. Can bluetooth be enabled on the 2005 factory Nav JBL HU, model Denso E7005?
I see that I can order a Japan microphone and plug into the back of the HU. Combine that with the right side switch and crossover cable from the '04 Land Cruiser. I know for sure that will enable voice commands to the Nav with the "speak" button on the wheel. I also read here that the phone buttons fire up a phone interface in the Nav. I also see some kind of "TEL" menu on the override screen in the Nav.
Siennaclub.org, oemvalue.com and many poineers of this mod are gone from these forums and so are many of the graphics embedded in the threads.
Perhaps I just want to believe this works - and for around $150.
Please, give me a clue!
