Bluetooth Issues JBL

Bluetooth has worked fine for years but all of a sudden streaming music audio doesn’t work. I’ve been using the same iPhone 7 Plus for about a year with no issues but started having intermittent issues last week. Unit shows there’s a song playing but no audio. Started using the USB and that worked for a few days but intermittent issues with that started today. I’ve deleted the phone and repaired, soft reset on phone but nothing works. Anyone else have this issue? Any resolution? I’ve read through a bunch of threads but can’t find people with this issue.

what versions of iOS are you on? maybe check to see if you have an iOS update you can run? have you completely powered off the phone and rebooted?

I’ve seen some iOS updates that have caused BT issues like that, but really odd that it’s also affecting your USB connectivity as well. I’d second the suggestion to reboot your phone (probably did that already with the soft reset). It *could* be related to the phone hardware itself, but I don’t think there’s enough to suggest that as the culprit yet.

I had the same problem on my 14 5th gen. Same phone IPhone 7 Plus then the headunit starting shutting off randomly. I just shut off the headunit turned off the car, turned off the iPhone for more than 30 seconds and then turned everything back on starting with the 4runner.

If that doesn’t work try the above but start the car with the iPhone plugged in. Also I found real Apple cords seemed to fix the issue.
