Body lift help asap

So I need a 1' body lift where can I get one for my 08. Also how to I get the bumpers to line back up like so of u guys have body lift and the bumper don't have the gaps. How do I do that is there a kit?

Definitely check out 4crawler.com for a body lift. Ordering can be kind of tricky to figure out the codes for what you want so make sure you read through the ordering options thoroughly.

For a 1" BL you shouldn't have any problems getting everything to fit back where it is supposed to. I have a 1.25" lift and the front bumper has stayed put for over a year. The rear as well, although it is more visibly pulled downward but still very much in place, no issues. For my lift I also went with the radiator drop to relocate the radiator (the radiator fan is attached to the engine, the radiator fan shroud/radiator is attached to the body) to alleviate any fan rubbing issues. I also went with the steering bushing spacer but that was a total waste, don't bother, it won't fit with anything less than like 1.5" of lift.

I also went with the ultimate kit, much heavier duty hard ware but it comes with a price. The heavier duty bolts don't quite fit through the holes in the body so you have to ream them out a little. It wasn't too hard but something to be prepared for if you go heavy duty.

I installed the lift by myself in a little over 4 hrs so its not too tough. Lots of write-ups here and on toyota120.com. Good luck.
 
Yeah I wouldnt do it. I have one and wish I could take it off, but my sliders and bumper would have to be chopped off and remade to work with no body lift.

A 1' body lift is going to look ghetto. The bumper brackets to get a 1' BL to match will be aweful looking. Your probably best to email Roger Brown and see if he can make one that big.

There is some guy in here that stacked 2, 1.5" or 2" BL to get more height.
 
Heres the problem im having with my tires, there scrubbing on baby mount on the front when there turned all way and the back when it flexs im sure will go in wheel well and tear plastic. Thats why im looking at body lift. I have a 3' toytec boss lift all ready
 
Body lift won't change the body mount, it is part of the frame. You have to cut the body mount and/or get some after market upper control arms that will give you more caster, pushing the wheel forward in the wheel well.

What size tires and wheels?
 
Nitto trail grapplers, 285/65/18 .. The 295/70/18 wouldn't fit at all. The 285s when it flexs I'm sure will go in rear wheel well and tear it up. I had to remove rear mud flaps to fit tire

Peice of cake. Sawzall or cutting wheel. Then just wire brush it and apply a few coats of rustoleum.

I opted to add more caster to the alignment and it pulled my tires (285's) away from the body mount so it never rubbed. It seems like only some aligment techs can pull it off though.

Just to point out... the [ ' ] indicates Foot/Feet, while [ " ] indicates Inch/Inches...

So do you want a 1 INCH body lift or 1 FOOT? Because one is probably not entirely needed, while the other is absolutely not needed. :)

My bad lol no need for 1 foot lift... so how can I fix this problem im having? I more concededabout the back when iI flex the wheel being so bog it tear the plastic when it flexs up in wheel well

Yes I have shockworks bumper on way but wait on those is forever but least it ordered. But I dont want bumper have gap with shockworks or with factory
