Body Lift for a 1999 Automatic transmission 4Runner. Is it possible? I only want a 1" lift. I feel like a noob to ask this. I just dont want to bite off more than I can chew.

it's all up to you what you want. 1" for most people gets the job done. What's your purpose for the bl? Just height, clearing tires, better stance, etc etc? A 1" bl is very easy and very doable. A 2" requires a little more patience and other parts. Anything above really is overkill and just asking for issues. There are a lot of people one here with 1", a few less with 2" (including myself in that), and very few with 3". Like stated above, it never hurts to search. The information is out there, and whether or not you find what you're looking for right off the bat, you might learn something else along the way. Good luck.

I am going to go with a 1". It will be combined with a 3" suspension lift in the future for a total of 4" of lift. In the future it will help with tire clearance. Thanks guys!

Most likely the Toytec Ultimate Lift Kit or something put together. Havent decided yet.

That's what I have and i love it. Just FYI though don't get the Light racing uper control arms. I wish I didn't buy them.

Why are you unhappy with the LR UCA's? I'm playing with the idea of Total Chaos or LR UCA's
