Nobody can tell you what size to get, thats up to you. What are you trying to gain from the BL? The higher you go the more problems you may eventually run into. Read through 4Crawlers FAQ section and that should help you out a lot. There are a lot of things that need to be taking into consideration with a 3" lift, that are non-issues with a smaller lift. To complete your lift you will need the basic lift kit in whatever size you choose, front bumper brackets, radiator brackets, steering extension, and hardware. The chart on his site is very simple to read really. He has all the option listed individually but he has in bold the ones that you need to make a complete kit. If you have a manual you will have to add a extension for the shifter too. Auto trans shifter will raise up with the body, and the 4wd selector does not need to be extended but it wouldnt hurt either.

well I really just want to lift the car a little bit. lol I just wanted to make the car huge lol. Well I also want to use it for off roading. Im thinking i will go with the 2 inch lift.

Suspension lifts are better than body lifts offroad.

You should start out with a 3" suspension lift and if that isn't enough go with a 1" or 2" body lift.

okay thanks guys
Does anyone recommend a lift?

We have several options concerning your lift options. Just depends on how much lift you want, and how much you want to spend.

here are ToyTec's Options

Should you find that you need any further assistance, don't hesitate to ask.

Good luck deciding.
I do have a discount code if your interested.

im so new to this lol. Well what would you recommend?
Im thinking at least a 3 inch lift for now then possible a body lift or what ever. Just any help will help
thanks

Be a good idea to give Toytec, as well as others a bit more info to work w/. The things to think about regarding a lift are going to be:

Added weight: bumper, spare tires, camping gear, winch, and be realistic about the time frame that you will be adding some of this stuff.

Tire size

and of course the end goal for the truck: type of terrain it will see etc.

ok sorry about that
well everything is stock but i want to add a brush guard sooner or later not sure yet. I do take my 4runner camping a lot and always have tons of stuff piled in my car. It will also be my daily driver. Is that better or should I add more info?

possibly 33's
um not sure on the camping gear because this upcoming fall im going to be taking an out door type rescue course. Which involves scuba tanks, tents, rafts, and a bunch of other out door style equipment. sorry its not specific.
I never have towed and don't think I will be towing
thanks for the help guys

You'll definitely need a 3" lift or more to clear the 33"s.

I would probably go with a heavy duty spring since it sounds like there will be a good bit of weight in the back.

i've called toytec a couple times, and have yet to spend any money w/ them, but they have been super nice in answering questions, and giving advice. Not sure about the other company, but i would say you probably can't go wrong w/ toytec.

I ordered my lift from toytec. Great customer service and I'm extremely impatient when ordering stuff off the Internet and it was at my door before I knew it. I have recommended them before and wouldn't hesitate to order from them again. My only complaint is I wish they would have sent a toytec sticker with all the stuff I ordered lol. Order from them. Great guys.
