Body lift?

Right now I am running the toytec 3/2 lift with front spacers and rear coils. My current tire is 275/55/20 Terra Grapplers which are 31.80 tall and 11.10 wide. I really want mud tires to make it look more aggresive and bigger tires. I plan on ordering the toyo mts after reading good reviews.They come in a size of 275/65/20 which is 34.5 inches high and 11.10 wide. I have no rubbing with my current tires. Theoretically if I get the 1.5 body lift, and these tires they will cancel out right? Adding three inches of height on the tire is actually 1.5 on each side. please give me your opinions!!! thanks

Your adding 2.7 inches of tire, 1.5" lift. Half of 2.7= 1.35.
So on paper it sounds like it will work.

34.5" tire and only 4.5"s of lift compared to stock with say a 29" tire says from stock you will be adding 4.5" of lift up front and 5.5 inches of tire divided by 2, is 2.75" of tire with 4.5" of lift. Sounds good to me. But you may need more lift because once you go past a 33" tire your tire will be taller than the fender is wide (front to back).

At the very minimum you will need to do a sufficient amount of plastic trimming and get your body mount chopped/boxed. You'll also need to hammer the pinch weld after you chop the plastic where the mud flaps mount. (These will also have to go if you still have them).

You will also need aftermarket UCA's, wheel spacers, or aftermarket wheels with enough offset. (Edit: One of these, not all).

You may be able to squeeze by with slightly less of the above mentioned things since they will be skinny, but most of them will still be needed.

Thanks a lot for the replies...the link on toyota120 helps a lot..after reading the posts and threads i think i may just go with the toyo mts 33 X 12.5 and just get the 1.25" spacers. I was just worried about the width of those tires being too wide for the UCA but from what i have read the 1.25" spacers will help that out.
