Body Mounts Cause "bottom out sound"?

I just installed a pair of running boards on my trail. I had to fasten the bracket from the running board to the body mount bolt. I am noticing a "bottom out" sound when hitting big bumps. Anyone know what would cause this? How tight should the body mount bolt be? Thanks! It is only occurring on the right side.

Hi there. Did you ever find a solution to this? I just installed a set of nerf bars that also mount on the body mounts and I'm getting the same kind of sound. I think one of the brackets its touching the frame and causing the sound when it vibrates over bumps, but not sure....Thanks!
