Body roll

2007 SR5, V6. 4WD, 212,xxx miles. I have what I consider excessive body roll. Any "quick" steering input & it feels "soft" initially but then firms up. It has had the following done within the last 5K miles: coilovers, front swaybar bushings/links, front wheel bearings, front brakes, rear shocks, rear swaybar bushings/links replaced. Any thoughts on what I might try?

Considering you've replaced so much: Hows the alignment?

Unless you replaced your bushings with squishy crap, it has to be coilovers which are too soft. My T4R is bone stock and does not have soft turn in that firms up mid corner.

I posted and included a Tacoma World link in your thread on the other forum:
Tacoma's OEM spring rate was reportedly claimed to be #540 in/lbs by Toytec. Might be a little light for a 4Runner. Try swapping a #600 in/lb Eibach in there. Or Dobinsons may have a spring that's just under #600, but still stiff enough to cure the ROLLY POLLY.

I just finished a complete refresh of everything except the shocks/springs since I had done those a year or two prior.

Aftermarket bump stops actually did make a little bit of a difference, I went for perryparts bump stops and have nothing but positive feedback so far. These went on before the refresh so I was able to see how they changed the ride independent of other parts.

The rest of the refresh was just completed a month or so back and that was the night and day difference.

All 4 rear control arms, track bar, upper and lower front control arms, rear sway bar bushings all got done. Holy crap I had no idea how beat up the original bushings were until I got all the new stuff on.

The truck is solid and silent now. No rattles and squeaks, massively reduced body roll, and it's more stable on the highway since I went for a little extra caster with the new alignment.

I'd go do a much more thorough inspection of all your bushings to see what might be falling apart after 200k miles.

What was all these components replaced with? Aftermarket? OEM? Oriellys? eBay parts? If youre getting body roll like that, its either sway bar or coilovers/coil springs. If youve replaced all these items and still have issues, we need to know what exactly it was replaced with because not all replacements are equal and as mentioned, different spring rates and shock pressures/valving can make a HUGE difference.
