bolt pattern

I posted this in the general discussion section and got no response, so here goes....

Alright first off, what is the bolt pattern for a 3rd gen? 2nd off, i know nothin about wheels, but i want some bling. i know that offset will determine how far in or out of the wheel well they will sit, what is a good off set for a 3rd gen? lastly what would a good size tire be without any trimming.

i saw these on craigslist. says they will fit an 05-07 taco, isnt that the same bolt pattern as a 3rd gen?

I'm guessing you're not lifted at all. If so, the max tire size you can go is 265/75/16 (pending your rig came with 16" wheels).

And yes, the Tacoma wheels do have the same bolt pattern. But IMO, it would look horribly out of place on a 3rd Gen.

I'm a 2wd, so i must go for the street look. check out the Enkei 20" deed dish wheel that come on tundras, 4runners, and tacomas. its part of their xsp package, which is only offered by southeast toyota dealerships.

I don't think those wheels pictured above looks, TOO bad. But the lines on a 4Runner really don't flow smoothly with big rims. I am not against huge rims. In fact, if I had a Denali/RR/Escalade, I'd definitely rock some 22/24's (all blacked out, of course ). A 4Runner looks good with bigger tires. It just flows better, IMO. And just because you're 2WD doesn't mean you can't wheel. There is a member on here (I believe? Or at least he's on yotatech) that wheels his 2WD hard.

Personally, I'd keep your Sequoia wheels and put some 265/70's on it.
