BOOM....

Lift is on... as are tints all around...

Tires to come, but stupid BFG decided to only make like two sets of 285 70 17 KM2s, so I have been waiting almost a month for them and they have still yet to come so I look stupid driving around a lifted truck on car tires....

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic, I will post better ones when the tires actually arrive, but I figured you guys would like to see the finished product.

OME 884 coils, toytec 2" coils, etc.. etcc....

and you plan on keeping the stock rims and using spacers?

Yea, I am going to keep the stock rims for now, and I have a set of wheel spacers, but I am going to mount them and see what happens. I have been told I would rub more with and some have said only works with spacers, but i believe I am the first to do 285s on stock TE wheels so I will report back once the damn tires are shipped.

did you install a sway bar relocate or diff. drop?

I did not, the sway bars were a PITA to deal with, but the are not really effected post lift, the angles are alittle different but the KDSS is still working fine and handles just as well on the road. I also did not install a diff drop, if I go any higher I might, but right now my CV angles are not that bad at all so it is no rush to install them any time in the near future. If they come out with a simple kit for the 2010s I will prob. pick one up at some point but for now no need.

Question...why were the swaybars such a PITA? Was there not a way to open the valves to allow free movement of the hydraulic fluid for the KDSS?

I'm asking because I will be doing an install shortly and haven't bothered to look under the rig. I was hoping some other people would troubleshoot for me.

I did not mess with the valves, it was just a pain articulating the suspension, and they are so big they just get in the way, but over all not a big deal. So dont worry about the KDSS stuff

Lookin' good Hawkdog!!The wait for the KM2's will be worth it.Are you going to replace the UCA's too. I changed mine out to TC's this weekend and made a HUGE difference.Took about 30 minutes.

Hey,also, Bud's looking for a 5th to test fit some some skid plates over in your neck of the woods at Budbuilt's in North Carolina. Might be able to score a set real cheap.
