Bored and nosey?

My current job situation entails a lot of downtime that I cannot productively use. :yawn: So through my boredom I have found a few ways to spend my time without getting in trouble. This one is addictive when there's some action going on. It's live, it's local and it's free. Enjoy.

I like to listen to a scanner for fire/med and air traffic, hooked up a BCT15X a few years back.

To bad the local airport now has a heli school that kills off most of the local air traffic squawk with their nonstop chatter.

I think RR is just a carrier for the "premium subscription" of BC. Either way, lots of cool stuff here to listen in on. We listened to the SO chasing this guy through the woods next to the interstate for about 4 hours the other day. They finally got him, and then BAM, another foot chase in town as soon as they were coming back into town.

Yeah, it is nutty...so many krazies out there.
Here in my town it is non-stop LEO action, never thought I would say this but we need more cops.

Had a guy threaten to set himself on fire, sent the wife/girlfriend to the store for beer first!....WTF! Apprehended with no incident.
Car chase with a 3rd gen 4runner...another dude with a pound of weed...burglaries, its endless.
