Borla Exhaust with Cold Air Intake

I have borla exhaust and i want to get a trd CAI, but when i opened the hood to look at the stock one it had a borla sticker on it. Do i have a different intake since i got the borla exhaust from port? Or is it stock with just a sticker on there? And should i change intakes or not?

I have the same setup except with a K&N intake. I would highly recommend this setup.

The Borla sticker that you have may be for a Borla air filter that may have replaced the stock filter. You should see the circular style filter if it is a true CAI.

the only thing about K&N is i have heard mixed reviews on it. I liek the sound of the trd, afe, or trueflow? Any recommendations?

I think they are all pretty much the same design. You would benefit from any of them.

The sound from the K&N is nice, I like the whistle in the morning when the engine is cold.

k&n

after using k&n filters for years, ( i like em) im switching back to a DRY filter (volant powercore) overtime the oil can collect on the MAF , which then needs cleaning or replacing (depending) also collects inside the tube. id say , if you want/like an open box, get it, closed box, try another brand. but get what you want, its your $.
