Bosch Icon blades

Why don't they make them for the 5th Gen??? These beam blades are the greatest I've ever used.

I have Valeos on mine. I've always used them on all my cars. Only issue I've come across with the 4R is if you lift the wiper and move it back and forth it will pop the retaining cap. Otherwise thumbs up.

I've had horrible luck with Valeos.

I've got this exact same question... getting good wiper blades can be confusing sometimes.

First, I sent my wife to the Toyota dealer to get wiper blade inserts for her 2012 4Runner, but they didn't sell them. She came home with what the dealer said was the correct part number for new blades, and they are the old school type (not streamlined beam type which originally came on the 4Runner). I think the correct blade may be called a Toyota Sightline blade.

Now, I'm looking for Bosch Icons, but it seems that the neither the Bosch application chart, nor Oreilly, nor Autozone say that there is a Bosch Icon that fits the 5th gen 4Runner. Tire Rack states that the Bosch Icon 24A and 20B should fit, but I'm not sure I trust that since the Bosch website itself doesn't say it will work.

Anyone here successfully using the Bosch Icon 24A and 20B on their 4Runner?
 
I love bosch icons but they dont last too long ... maybe 3 to 4months at the most.

the number is total lenght and the letter is offset...

24A = 24 inches A = centered B = offset
 
There are some limitations. OEM reluctant to use them. Standart blades are cheap and fairly effective.

I have bosh Icon wiper blades on my 2005. Still running the original set I got 3 years ago and they are still in good condition, no noise and cleans well without bad spots.

I have installed 24A and 21B on 2016 this week and mentioned that driver side lifts last 1.5" when wiper gets to vertical position meaning that it leaves small area on the top unclean ed, it gets at full contact when wiper travels bellow interior mirror level. Does anyone have the same issue?

I'mvery happy with Bosh Icons as they last very long, cleans extremely well and doesn't freeze in winter under snow, ice and slush.

A stands for low pressure and B for high pressure on the blade. If you compare both side by side, B would have more curvature, it helps with getting full contact on the passenger side when wiper is in down position. I wish 24" wiper would of come with B designation...

I just put a set on. I have used these blades on everything I've owned for 8 years or so. No complaints.

Is the 21B a 21 inch Blade?
