Boston or Infinity speakers

Im looking at boston acoustics SX55 5.25" or Infinity 5.7 kappas 5.25" for the rear door. Any preferences on these?

I would probably go with the kappas. I had a Boston Acoustics component set a while ago and while they sound good for the price, I just wasn't all that impressed.

Personally, I would go with Boston. But - speaker preference is highly subjective. Go and listen to both and decide for yourself. You live in Annapolis still? Go over to Tweeter in Bowie (on 301, just south of 50, right next to Target). You can listen to both and decide for yourself... (I was just there, I know they carry the full Boston lineup and I think they have the Infinity line also, but not 100% on that)...

BOSTONS!!!

I have gone from Cerwin Vega's to Infinity's to Bostons, and will never use anything but Bostons again. I went a little overboard though in my truck, see list below.

Infinity Kappas are great. depends where you're getting them for and what your ear prefers

I have kappas 6x9 in my front and they sound crazy with stock everything else.

nice thanks for the opinions. i have cer vegs and they have too much high mid that just pierces your ears. ill post when i change em out and tell ya how they sound.

It sounds like you already have some nice speakers, maybe instead just invest in an equalizer. I have the Audio Control 3.1 in my Mustang and I love it, it allows you to make adjustments on the fly, and it sounds like if your highs are too high and that is your only problem that would easily fix it

yea the MB's are really nice. The titanium tweets scream, make some highs. i was was looking at some different in dash eq's. Im just picky when it comes to sound.
